How do you motivate people to learn when everyone is overloaded?


How do you transfer knowledge into everyday work when there is no time?


In today’s organisations, learning is no longer just an HR activity — it is how teams stay adaptable, relevant, and competitive. Yet many organisations struggle to turn training and knowledge-sharing into real behavioural change.


At Culture UnConference Ljubljana 2026, we will explore how to build a stronger learning culture in practice: one that motivates people, supports knowledge transfer, and fits the reality of busy organisations.

What is Culture UnConference?

 Culture UnConference is not a classic conference.


Here, there is no passive audience.
There are no ready-made answers.
There are no “experts” who know everything.


Instead, this is a space for open, honest, and practical conversations about real organisational challenges. The value of the event is in the people in the room - professionals who understand similar challenges and are willing to share, listen, question, and co-create possible solutions.

What can you expect?

1. Opening panel


We will begin with an opening panel discussion on one of the key questions for today’s organisations: How can we motivate employees for learning that creates a real competitive advantage?

The panel will open different perspectives on employee motivation, resistance to learning, knowledge transfer, and the role of organisations in creating learning experiences that lead to real change.

2. From challenges to solutions (mastermind)


The heart of the UnConference is the interactive part.

Participants will work in smaller facilitated groups on real challenges related to motivation, learning, and knowledge transfer. 


Together, we will explore practical approaches that can help organisations move from training as an activity to learning as a culture.


3. Networking and closing

We will close the event with informal networking and refreshments - a chance to continue the conversation, meet colleagues from practice, and exchange ideas in a relaxed setting.
